[Finding the Strength to Stand Through Empathy]

Oasis Light was created to share the "glimmers of light" that have illuminated my path during times of adversity.

Amidst the long and oppressive stretches of life, we often feel like isolated islands—besieged by reality and overwhelmed by a sense of powerlessness. Instinctively, we attempt to mask this vulnerability and exposure in various ways, yet we often find ourselves growing even more weary within the web of our own deceptions.

But here, I wish to offer a new perspective.

Through the lives of real people who walked the earth—as recorded in the Bible—we discover that the very circumstances which seem so hopeless to us today are, in fact, experiences shared by humanity throughout the ages. As we forge connections with these lives, our initial "stings of pain" transform into a profound sense of empathy. We no longer hide away in isolation; instead, illuminated by the light of truth, we see through the lies and find the support we need through our shared resonance with one another.

This is more than just a devotional; it is an inspiration for living.

The Lord does not demand that we become strong overnight. Therefore, my only desire here is to walk alongside you—seeking out those glimmers of light amidst the daily pressures of life, and, through our resonance with the figures of the Bible, rediscovering the strength that enables us to stand tall and breathe in peace.
